How to Update KYC in UAN Portal

How to Update KYC in UAN Portal:

UAN Member Portal is designed for UAN Members, so that they can access their PF Account Online. Employees’ Provident Fund Organization provided EPF Passbook, UAN Card, KYC Information and Online PF Claim Facility on UAN Member Portal. If you want to Update KYC Information, you can do it online on UAN Portal.

How to Update KYC in UAN Portal

EPFO Members with UAN can Login to UAN Portal with your Universal Account Number and Password. You create your Password after UAN Activation Process. In case your UAN is Not Activated yet, you have Activate it and create Login Password for UAN Member Portal. Thereafter you can Update your KYC Online.

Now you don’t need to submit your documents to your Employer or Regional EPF Office. On UAN Member Portal, you can Update your KYC Information Online at anytime. Here we provide Important KYC Documents and Procedure to Update KYC Information on UAN Member Portal.

List of KYC Documents for UAN Portal (PF Account)

You can Link following documents to Update KYC Information on UAN Member Portal:

  • Bank Account Details
  • Permanent Account Number (PAN Card)
  • Aadhaar Card (UIDAI)
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • Election Card
  • Ration Card
  • National Population Register

From the KYC Documents mentioned above, Bank Details, Aadhaar and PAN are mandatory for All UAN Member. In case you don’t have Aadhaar Card, you can choose another ID Proof from the list. However, Aadhaar Seeding is compulsory for Members who want to submit Online PF Claim through UAN Member Portal.

How to Update KYC Information on UAN Member Portal

In order to Update KYC Information Online, you must have your UAN Number, Login Password and a Computer with Internet Connection.

  1. Go to UAN Member Portal at unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.
  2. Navigate to Login Section and enter your UAN Number & Password.
  3. Enter the Captcha Code and click on Sign In button to proceed.
  4. Select Manage tab and click on KYC option to go to relevant page.
  5. Select your KYC Option and enter Document Number, Name as per document and other details.
  6. Click on Save button to proceed.

Your KYC Update Request will be either approved or remain pending. You can Check the Status of your KYC just below the List of KYC Documents under Pending KYC or Approved KYC section.
